is really two pieces of energy. one in the south and one in the north. now if they were to get together and phase as we call it meteorologically we can get a big storm out of this. it's not going to be until the storm is out here. sorry snow lovers no big event here in the metro but the favorited mountains could get 6- inches, in fact warm enough aloft we have freezing rain falling across southern kentucky and tennessee this morning. but the snow is going to take a while to get here and the air is really dold. 8 degrees now in williamsport and we're 20 at reagan national and low to mid-teens in some of the suburbs this morning. outside on our michael & son weather camera, really good visibility under cloudy skies. north northwesterly winds at 10. it's 20 degrees feeling like 9 and the dew point is at 1 below. one of the problems we have to overcome is it's very dry air with the 21-degree spread between the temperature and the dew point humidity at 40%. the initial snow will likely be evaporating. so second storm on the way. yesterday was storm number one
